Middle school athletics and activities

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • Students who are absent more than three periods in a day may not participate in any after-school sports or activities on that day
  • TRACK 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH GRADE: REGISTRATION IS OPEN.   Practice begins Tuesday April 10th at 3:30 pm.  Practice ends at 5:00 so you will need to pick up your student as there is not bus transportation available after practice.  Practice will be every day except the days of the meets.  The Meet Schedule and Parent Meeting Information will be emailed out after Spring Break. The Meet Schedule is posted below.
  • GIRLS BOWLING:  7th and 8th Grades:   Registration is Closed.
  • 7th-8th Grade:  Practice begins February 5, 2018 at 3:30.  The Bus will take the Bowlers to Crosley Lanes/Hazel Dell Lanes  at 3:45 p.m. and will bring back to Alki at 5:30 p.m.  Parents will need to pick up their Bowler at that time.  There is no bus transportation
  • back to Alki after Meets, so your Bowler needs to be picked up at the designated alley.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
