Middle school athletics and activities

  • Fall Sports (2017-2018) On-Line Family ID Registration will begin August 1, 2017.
  • Please click on the Registration Tab, click on Family ID and it will take you directly to the Registration Page.
  • TACKLE FOOTBALL (8TH Grade) August 17 – Equipment Checkout 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Practice for Tackle starts August 21st at 9:00 am to 11:00 am.  Full Practice Schedule to be posted on Family ID and Alki Website.
  • FLAG FOOTBALL (6th and 7th Grade) Practices to be posted on Family ID and the Alki Website when determined.
  • CROSS COUNTRY (6th, 7th, 8th Grades) Practices start August 21 at 10:00 am to 11:15 AM.  See Practice scheduled Posted on Family ID or the Alki Website.
  • VOLLEYBALL (7th Grade) Practices begin August 21st-August 25th at 10:00 am to 11:30 pm.  August 28th begins regular practice time at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. 7th Grade Practices with 8th Grade this year.
  • VOLLEYBALL (8th Grade) Practices begin August 21st-August 25th at 12:00 to 1:30 pm.  Aug. 28th 8:30-10:00 am. August 29th begins regular practice times from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. after school.
  • All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per s
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • Students who are absent more than three periods in a day may not participate in any after-school sports or activities on that day.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
