Middle and high school students will be able to use YouTube on a limited basis during the 2017-18 school year.
All students and their parents are invited to attend our Back to School Night on Monday, August 28th from 5:30- 6:30 pm. Students and parents will be able to visit the classrooms and walk around the building. A general information meeting will be held from 6:00—6:30 pm for our incoming 6th grade parents and new families.
The festival will feature food; entertainment; family-friendly activities; and information about early learning, employment, counseling, health care, housing and other resources.
Due to fire risk and the presence of construction material and equipment at some schools, fireworks will not be permitted on Vancouver Public Schools’ grounds and parking lots this summer.
“The first thing I do is check in with the parent to address their basic needs,” said Nicole Loran-Graham, coordinator of the mobile FCRC. “‘How are you doing? Have you eaten? How are you staying warm? Have you slept?’
