SCIENCE CURRENT EVENTS

 

Include the following:

1. Name and date (right side)

2. Correct Bibliography ( see below for example)

3. Article Summary ( 1-2 paragraphs)

4. Your reactions/opinions ( 2-3 sentences)

5. 3-5 Science related words AND their definitions

6. Staple a copy of the article to your paper

7. Highlight or underline the main ideas and supporting details

8. Circle the science vocabulary (3-5 words)

 

BIBLIOGRAPHY

 

Newspaper or Magazine Format:

Author’s last name, first name. “Title of article.” Media name underlined, Day,

Month. Year:Page number range

 

Newspaper or Magazine Example:

Clements, Gary. "On the Ball." Woodbury Business August. 1999: 20-25.

 

For online articles use this format:

Creator's name (if given). Web Page Title. Institution or organization.  Date of access <URL network address>.

 

 

The first line always starts at the left hand margin.

          The second line and subsequent lines are indented 5 spaces

If there are no authors listed then indent one tab and start with the title
