Magazine Article Review Directions

A magazine article review is basically a mini book report about a current event in any scientific field. Students are to complete 5 article reviews as homework assignments.  The schedule for these breaks down to roughly one every two weeks (for specific due dates see the assignment calendar). Choose a full-length science article.  It should be at least two pages long and can come from any magazine, newspaper, internet website or other source of current science information. Check my links page for some good examples.

Word process the following information:

  1. List the name of the article and list the pages on which the article can be found.

  1. On the next line, list the name of the magazine, date, volume and number (sometimes not available).  This information is on front of the magazine, newspaper. If using a website insert the address.

  1. Now skip a line
