Middle school athletics and activities

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • If you are on free or reduced lunch, please call the Business Office for more information.
  • All fines must be paid before a student can participate in an Activity.
  •  BOYS BASKETBALL 7th and 8th Grades:  Practice starting every day January 14th, 2019 through March 15, 2019.   7th Grade Coach:  Jon Davis  8th Grade Coach: Neil Cummings.  Game Schedules will be posted after January 22ND.
  • BASKETBALL PRACTICE:  The First Week January 14th – 18th ALL 7th Graders will practice at 7:00 AM.  ALL 8th Graders will practice at 3:30-5:00 PM.  The Week of January 21 and thereafter, the practice schedule may change but your student will be told by their coaches what the change is and it will be posted on this website.
  • PARENT MEETING:  A parent meeting will be held by our Athletic Director and Coaches on January 24th at 5:00 p.m. in the Gym.
  • BASKETBALL PICTURES:  Monday February 4th during Practices.  Picture packets will be given to your student a few days before that date by their coach.
  • BOWLING GIRLS 7th and 8th Grades:  Begins February 4th through March 26th.  Registration is now open on Family ID. Meet Schedules will be posted after January 31st.  Practices are every day after school.  The Bus will pick them up at Alki and take them to Hazel Dell Lanes.  The bus will bring them back to Alki and you will need to pick up your student around 5:40 p.m.  On Meet days, the Bus will take them to the Meet either at Crosley Lanes or Hazel Dell Lanes.  Transportation is NOT provided after the Meet.  Parent/Guardian will need to provide transportation after the meet is over.
  • BOWLING PICTURES:  Will be taken at Hazel Dell Lanes on Monday February 11th at 4:00 p.m.  Picture Packets will be given to your student a few days before that date.
  • TRACK: 6th, 7th and 8th Grades, Boys and Girls:    Begins April 9th through May 23rd.  Registration will open on Family ID mid February.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
