Middle school athletics and activities

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • If you are on free or reduced lunch, please call the Business Office for more information.
  • All fines must be paid before a student can participate in an Activity.
  • EARLY WINTER SPORTS:  October 23rd – December 19th 2018.  Last day to clear is Oct. 26th.                   

  • PARENT MEETING:  Will be held Tuesday October 30th at 5:00 p.m. You will receive information regarding this Early Winter Sports Season (Girls BB and Wrestling) and ask any questions you may have.

  • Wrestling:  6th, 7th and 8th Grade, Boys and Girls.  Practice begins Tuesday October 23rd from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. every day after school. On Mondays (Early Release Days), Athletes will go to the Cafeteria for Study Skills until 3:30.  Parents will need to provide transportation after practices.  Pictures for Wrestling will be held on Thursday November 1st at 3:45 p.m.  Packets will be sent home a few days before that.  Coaches:  Head Coach is Will Brown                                                

  • Girls Basketball:  Practice begins October 23rd. Varsity 7th Graders begin at 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. (Yawn) and JV 7th Graders practice at 3:30-5:00 p.m.  8th Graders begin at 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.  Parents will need to provide transportation after practice ends.  Pictures will be held on Thursday November 1st.  7th Grade will be at 7:15 a.m. and 8th Grade will be held at 3:45 p.m.  Picture Packets will be sent home a few days before this date.  Coaches:  7th Grade Head Coach is Jon Davis.  8th Grade Head Coach is Neil Cummings.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
