Middle school athletics and activities:

COVID GUIDELINES:  Each Athlete needs to turn in a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Card to Mr. Ryan in the office before they can participate in a sport.

If your Athlete has not had the COVID-19 Vaccination, then please fill out the attached consent form saying you would agree for twice weekly COVID-19 Antigen Testing to be performed on your Athlete.  The completed form will need to be brought to Mr. Ryan.

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Please download our Physical Form to take to your Doctor or an Urgent Care Clinic.  We do not accept Physicals from  CCYF, Boy Scouts or a physical not on our form. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • If you are on free or reduced lunch, please call the Business Office for more information.
  • All fines must be paid before a student can participate in an Activity
  • EARLY RELEASE DAYS:  Athletes will go to a supervised Study Skills until Practice starts at 3:45.
  • SNACKS:  Most Athletes bring some sort of a snack to eat after school before practice or before a game.
            • CHANGE IN TIMES FOR 7TH GRADE PRACTICE:

7TH GRADE BASKETBALL WILL NOW PRACTICE IN THE MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL AT 7:00 A.M.  WE HAD MANY SIGN UP OVER BREAK AND WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM IN THE GYM FOR BOTH 7TH AND 8TH GRADE TO PRACTICE.

8TH GRADE WILL PRACTICE AFTER SCHOOL UNTIL 5:15 P.M.

IF YOUR STUDENT MAKES 7TH OR 8TH GRADE VARSITY, THEY WILL START PRACTICE EVERY DAY AT 7:30 A.M., 

STARTING JAN 11TH,  JV FOR BOTH GRADES WILL PRACTICE AFTER SCHOOL EVERY DAY UNTIL 5:15 P.M.

ON MONDAYS, EARLY RELEASE DAYS, THE BASKETBALL PLAYERS WILL GO TO A STUDY HALL UNTIL PRACTICE BEGINS.

GAMES BEGIN ON JANUARY 19TH.  THE OFFICIAL SCHEDULE HAS NOT BEEN MADE YET.  IT WILL BE RELEASED AND POSTED HERE SOMETIME THE WEEK BEFORE THE 19TH.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
