Middle school athletics and activities

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Please download our Physical Form to take to your Doctor or an Urgent Care Clinic.  We do not accept Phyiscals from  CCYF, Boy Scouts or a physical not on our form. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.
  • If you are on free or reduced lunch, please call the Business Office for more information.
  • All fines must be paid before a student can participate in an Activity.
  • Practice begins January 14th.  Practice times for VARSITY 8th and 7th will be at 7:00 a.m. every day except game days.  JV Teams for 8th and 7th will practice after school from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.  There is not bus transportation provided after practice.  A parent/guardian will need to pick up. There is bus transportation to the games, however, a parent/guardian needs to take home.
  • Game schedules are posted below.  Pictures are taken February 4th.  Varsity in the morning at 7:00 a.m. and JV in the afternoon.
  • Picture Packets will be handed out by their coaches a few days before this date.
  • GIRLS BOWLING 7th and 8th GRADE ONLY begins February 10th, 2020.  Registration is open now!
  • Your Athlete must have a current sports physical done on our form.  Please pay the $10.00 ASB Fee if you have not done so already and the $20.00 sport fee before a fine is assessed at the end of the season.  If you need any financial help, please call the business office.
  • Practices are every day after school.  Bus Transportation will take them to practice and back to Alki.  They should arrive around 5:30 to 5:45 p.m.  A parent/guardian will need to pick them up.  The meet schedule will be posted around February 15th.
  • BOWLING PICTURES IS FEBRUARY 21ST AT THE BOWLING ALLEY.  The Coach will hand out picture packets before that day.

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
