Middle school athletics and activities

  • Register for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.
  •  All students in middle school can participate in sports through the district’s no-cut policy.
  • Students may participate in one sport/activity per season
  • Students cannot practice or participate in competitions until all required forms have been completed and submitted through FamilyID. Students also must have a valid physical to start practice. Families who do not have health insurance may wish to contact the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.

    Wrestling 6th, 7th and 8th Grade and Girls Basketball 7th and 8th.  Registration opens on family ID October 1, 2018.  Practice begins October 23, 2018.  On early release days (Mondays), the Athletes will attend Study Skills, then go to Practice which will begin at 3:30 until 5:00 p.m.  No Bus Transportation is provided after practice.  Parents must make those arrangements.

  • Cross Country Pictures will be taken Friday September 21st after school. All players will need to wear their uniforms and bring their picture packets.  Picture Packets will be handed out closer to those dates
  •    Explanation of the VB Schedules/Teams:  Alki is 7th or 8th Grade Varsity.
  •    8th Grade Varsity coach is Julie McCloud.  8th Grade Alki Pack coach is Ryan Coffey.  8th Grade Alki Wolves is Alisha Cast.   
  •    7th Grade Varsity coach is Donna Stone.  7th Grade Alki White is Kaitlyn Snider

Parents can register their children for middle school sports and activities through FamilyID, a secure, user-friendly platform.

  • All athletic fees and fines must be paid in order to compete. Financial assistance is available.
  • Each sport requires a valid ASB card ($10 each calendar year) and sport-specific fee of $20. These funds are used to help defray the cost of equipment, cleaning/repair/replacement of uniforms, transportation, officials and other expenses.
